As an Englishman living in New York, John has lent his voice to commercials for well-known brands such as Google, Walmart, Novartis, Melita, Jaguar, Nickelodeon, 4AD Records and Burger King.

 

He's also lent his voice to spotify promos for artists and bands like Tune-Yards, Starcrawler, Car Seat Headrest, U.S. Girls, Everything is Recorded, Jungle, Goat Girl, The Breeders, Kamasi Washington, Lucy Dacus, Yo La Tengo, Parquet Courts, Soak, Snail Mail, New Gen, The Avalanches, Lapsley, Jack White, Interpol, Goat Girl, Sampha and Ibeyi and Belle and Sebastian. John was also the voice of the Pixies - Come on pilgrim, it's Surfer Rosa reissue radio commercial.

John has studied with some of the leading voiceover teachers in New York, as well as improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.
